If you do not get any takers, trim down the stock and put a slip on Limbsaver on it. If you are handier then you can add a grind down Limbsaver or another one of your choice. For your trade to take place you have to find someone that wants to trade a plastic stock for the wood one. I do not want any that are not checkered walnut or checkered laminate, but that is me. I have a plastic regular comb take off, but would not trade it unless it is for one like I mentioned. Someone will come along, but if not do as I suggested. It may not look the best, but it will be much kinder to your shoulder.
