I found this last night while research 38-55 data, for those interested in 38-55 Jacketed bullet peformance, here's a report by Dave King on the .377" Barnes 38-55 bullet, about half way down the page, post #900465. I also found a source for jacketed .377"-.379" bullets.
https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/900438/page/5/fpart/2
I also found a possible source of oversize jacketed bullets for the 38-55, .377"-.379"

What bullet are you shooting? The Lyman 48th lists IMR3031 with the #375248 249gr bullet as 31gr start, for 1506fps in a 30" barrel, 35gr
max
compressed at 1812fps, WW brass, Rem 9½ primer, 2.550" COL.

I'd use the Lyman 375348 data that I posted previously, it's a gas checked bullets, and it's good for considerably more velocity than you can get out of a 38-55 case, I found reference at Shooters forum of it being used in the 375 Hawk!!
