Why are our names different colors and what do they mean?

Good question.
I went from blue to orange after the 1k mark but you are already past this. Red obviously fits in as owner/administrator but yet there are some green's also.

Do not wear your "blue" while riding alone cause a couple of "greens" might knock you off. Wear white or black instead ;D ;) ::)

I never payed any attention to the number of post I've made until I read this thread.   I just thought "senior member" meant I was old.  ;D

I was wondering though, shouldn't my name be in purple since I am a moderator on several boards?

Brett you don't even have the little icon that says GBO Moderator. Do you have all of your moderator powers on those boards? Thanks for explaining that Matt.

Am I supposed to get them when I get my secret moderator decoder ring?  ;)

Actually did have moderator powers but my boards are generally pretty tame so I haven't really had the opportunity to use them recently.

Hmm... I thought I did have the icon at one time.  Maybe I've been fired?  Still listed as moderator when I go to the boards.  ???

Beats me too I've tried to figure it out and given up. I've turned it over to Matt to figure out.
