I had a friend make me some (square)sillouttes out of 3/8 & 5/8 steel plate,they are diveting pretty bad.what type of metal would not divet sooo bad????? :?

typically targets for silhouette are made from T-1 steel.  Mild steel will crater depending on cartridge and velocity.  T-1 is much more durable.

I've got a origional steel chicken from Angeles Range Matches

  Back in the 70's we used armor plate however even with that a

 30-06 B.T. will pierce it. A .458 solid will make a big creator and

a 44 mag leaves a little mark. :-D In the late 70's the base was big

they were tilted forward and a seventy mile wind wouldn't bother them

More than I could count I've bounced Full Bore 44's off the Rams and

turkeys and they just  :-D  :)  :-D  :)
