Does South Dakota Allow High Caps Mags for P. Dogs??

Does anyone here know if I can use a high capacity magazine in my AR to shoot Prairie Dogs in S. Dakota, or any state? Thanks!

No restrictions that I have ever heard of. Although I'm not sure why you would want to. From a prone position or bench I would think any thing over 20rounders would get in the way.   KN

Here in Michigan, i can only use 5 rounders for hunting, so anything more is high cap to me. A 20 rounder would be about right. I shoot them from the prone position and use shooting stix, so the long magazine is no problem! Thanks!

You can use them here in CO no problems.

Of the dozens of times I have taken people out to shoot pds with AR rifles I can add this - It will give you no advantage and actually be in the way. If you use the high cap mag to its extent you'll burn up your barrel in short order. Difficult to pace your fire when you have a couple dozens rounds waiting to be touched off. It will make the gun awkward to shoot off most rests and bipods I've seen.
