I have been trying to shoot 39 gr Match Kings with no success. What bullets do shoot in your H&R 204"s ?

The 39 grain BK shot the best so far out of my Handi 204, cant remember the weight, but I was using 4895 and was on the upper end of the charge limit.  I was getting .75 groups at 100 yards with that load.  I have some 40 grain berger bullets that I want to try with some RL 10X, just waiting on better weather.  Factory Hornady 32 V-Max shot the best, .50 @ 100 yards, but reloading 32 and 40 grain Hornady does not do the best for me with BLC2 and 4895 so far.

H4895 and the 39's work really well for me.

What powder have you been using?

What does factory ammo shoot like.

I just got the dogtown bullets in yesterday and I am fixing to work up a load was wondering if you could give me a good starting load for the 34 grain. I have been having problems finding loads for the dogtown bullets.

Repeating myself from another post:

I have good luck with Varget behind either 32 or 39 gr Sierras. Not the fastest, but some nice 1/2" groups. Haven't figured out which weight is better yet. Results seem to vary from week to week.
