If I understand you right, your plans to swap parts between the two .58's should pose no difficulty.
As far as mounting a newer .50 cal barrel on one of your
older Huntsman frames, no way... it simply
won't mount.
The
original Harrington & Richardson Co. (before bankruptcy and reorganization) manufactured the Huntsman back in the '70's.
They were available in .45 cal, .58 cal. and 12 gauge.
The under barrel mounting lug of those arms and the corresponding channel in the frame are narrower than the centerfires of the same period.
This was meant to render the Huntsman line as muzzleloader only, technically "non-firearms" needing no background search, waiting period, etc. for purchase, I believe.
The NEW Huntsman and centerfires are of the wide configuration as were the old centerfires.
Only muzzleloading bbls. of the '70's era, with the narrow lug will mount on your .58 receivers... and probably need fitting besides.
Your "AL" serial number prefix indicates a 1973 vintage. See this thread (FAQ's) in the NEF/H&R Centerfire forum for this and much other helpful info:
