1/2 through with my Bullseye powder
« on: August 08, 2003, 07:41:57 AM »
Years ago, and I do mean many I bought 16 lbs of Bullseye in 4 lb jugs.  Well today I broke open the 3rd one.  Half way there.  I figure I need to reload about 14,000 or so more rounds to finish it off and go to a cleaner powder like Clays or something else that will be new on the market by the time it takes me to use it all up.  Loading all my Cas cartridges, rifle and pistol, as well as USPSA ones so it is possible.

Ain't that the truth!  I bought 16# of Unique and still have about 6# left.  I keep loading it and loading it, wishing it were Universal or Titegroup.  (actually, I use a fair amount of titegroup in .45lc, but that's not all that much cleaner-I still have to tumble my cases).  When I do finially run out of it, I'll probably just go buy more.  It just keeps doing the jobs I ask of it, you can't do much better than that.  Keep shooting!     44 Man

Pard,
I have tried other powders but Bullseye and Unique are th most accurate in my guns.  A little smoke is worth it.
