WATCHABLE WILDLIFE

Ohio's bald eagles have started incubating eggs and the nesting season is
officially underway! The Division of Wildlife staff and a dedicated group of

look for nests that may as yet be undiscovered. Anyone who observes eagles
building a new nest should contact the county wildlife officer or a wildlife

their spring nesting grounds. Some of these birds will fly through Ohio while
others will begin to set up housekeeping right here in central Ohio. March is
the best time of the year to "duck watch" as the numbers of birds in our area
peak. Also, the males of many species are especially beautiful at this time of
year as they are sporting full breeding plumage. Find where to view wildlife
in Ohio.

year. Learn more about these mysterious creatures and where you can find them!
