There are several different make of custom grips for the Contender/G2 depending on your taste and how deep your pockets. I have grips by "Georgia Jim" and a gentleman "Otter Custom Stocks", and can endorse their work:

This is a set by Georgia Jim on my Encore.  I currently have 9 sets of his custom wood for my Thompson products (Contender/G2 and Encores)

This is a set by Otter Custom Stocks

There is also "High Plains Gunstocks", I've got a set of their Curly Maple wood comming soon

There is also Danzel Roberts

Also Mike at OTT has started making grips

I'm sure there are some I've omitted such as BullBerry etc but this should get you started.
Good luck
