Will the new hawkeye action fit in a mkII stock,would love to have ss action in walnut stock.
I enjoy collecting guns, swaping and staying up on all the newest models. I deer, quail, squirrel and rabbit hunt.

i believe you are going to find a difference in barrel contour.the hawkeye has a heavier barrel contour more like the full size 77's.nothing a little sanding wouldn't fix.later adker

Ruger Model 77 + Sandblaster = Ruger Hawkeye
