BC in the 45 colt.
« on: March 20, 2008, 05:09:39 PM »
Looked at and drooled on one too long.  just had to get one of them.  Ordered it Monday and should get it Friday or Monday.  Was going to get a barrel fitted to a frame I have but seem to be to lazy to switch frames on all of the "kids".  Not close to Tim or several others, but this will be 11 frames and 14 barrels.  Still thinking about a couple more 357 barrels.  Really like the one I have, but sure would like to get one made into the 35 Rem to go with the Marlin 336 I have.  The other maybe a Max.  Anyone know if they have them in stock now?  Took the 444 out to play and sight it in the other day.  Didn't shoot for groups as was to cold and windy, but sure had fun busting rocks!  When I brought her home the 45/70 wouldn't talk to either of us!  Guess she will have to go to the prom next weekend.  She shouldn't mind going out with her little sister, BC 45colt.  I just keep telling the wife, I'm getting them for the kids to have when I get put in the Hawken and get blown out in the wind in the mountains here in Montana.  Said she would do it, but wants to keep some of the ashes at home as well.  Only took 3 times, but guess I got the right woman this time.  Sorry to ramble, but hadn't had time to get on here for awhile.  DP.
