what a difference...
« on: March 09, 2008, 10:22:45 AM »
I got 8 arrows refletched so they were all like new so i could do some shooting yesterday, well i've been quite unhappy with the way my bow shoots so the guy i brought my stuff to took a look at it, and the rest was all out of wack, and i was right that i was only at about 50 lbs, so i bumped it up a little, about 60lbs and dropped down from 125 grain tips to 100, readjusted my rest and went shooting.  WOW its like a totally different bow, much more consistent now and hits with authority.  The way it was shooting i thought if i did manage to get a broadhead to a deer it would have bounced off and laughed at me.  I see archery is a lot more promising with the right set up.

just make certain the center shot is aligned corectly and the rest will just happen. Tuning is the hardest but most important part of bowhunting or just target shooting. I admit to be quite the pro when it comes to tuning and would be happy to offer any advice I can.  Dave
