I just bought a savage mk II and i have noticed the front of the ejection slot is cut uneven & has a small gap in it.Was wondeing if this is pretty normal or is this something i need to contact savage about.I did not expect the rifle to be perfect but i have seen other rifles similar to mine with very clean lines around the ejection slot.
