With my impending retirement, things are a bit up in the air right now. I am a bit reluctant to start on any new projects right now...
Quite frankly after March 27th I have no idea where I will live or if I will have internet access...I will, but may be headed back to dial.
I may be busy starting up a new business and that may take a lot of my time. Time I won't have to work on the calandar. I need to be looking for a house and a job, not playing on the net.
There is one other thing, I will have to check with Graybeard and see if adequate numbers of calendars sold to warrant the time to produce another calender. The proceeds from the sales of the calendar go to support this board. Matt the Webmaster has to put the calendars together and if the return doesn't justify his time it won't happen. And, the calendar must be made and sold via the GBO E-store or it can't be sold on this board. For me this is a non-negotiable item. GBO provides a place to hang out, we need to help pay the bills.
When I suggested the cannon calendar last year, I was very concerned about what we would get for pictures. I shouldn't have been, you guys came up with some good stuff and I know you would again.
Now by time I get my new life sorted out it may be a bit late in the year to start on a 2009 calendar...so, what I will try to do later today, if my wife has no plans for me...I will put up a post for collecting cannon pictures for the calendar. The key provision of that post is that no calendar may produced this year. But at least we will have a data base to work form, if I get time?
