Tested some Barnes Tipped Triple Shocks today

I had my 30-06 out today and some 168gr Barnes Tipped Triple Shocks. I had these loaded in Lapua Brass and started at 55.0grs and went up at .5 gr increments using IMR 4350.
I started firing the rounds and inspected each piece of brass after each shot and never saw a sign of excessive pressure. I even showed another guy at the range the lowest piece of brass and the hottest and he couldn't tell a difference.
That's on a Savage Action. Since the chronograph at the range didn't work and I don't have the latest edition of Barnes Reloading book I can't tell you how many FPS I got, but the brass was almost completely filled with powder and it was completely safe in my savage rifle.
When I got home I worked up some more loads and I'll test them for accuracy new time. I just thought you all might like to read something about these bullets. I was actually pretty impressed that I could max them out with an "old Faithful" powder and there weren't any pressure signs. Next time I'll go for accuracy testing.
All I was trying to do was let people know that these bullets didn't show excessive pressure signs like flattened primers and so on. And yeah, the bullets exited the barrel, even hit the steel target too for that matter.

Did the bullets EXIT the barrel? If so you should consider that an EXCELLENT indication of pressure. HINT: there is no way to tell just how much pressure you're running unless you have pressure measuring equipment. All those old wives stories of how to guess at the pressure have been proven false by modern research.
Are your loads within the Barnes manual listed loads or are they over? If over don't post them on this site.

Barnes doesn't list data for the TSX or TTSX in the current #3 manual, they do list data for a couple powders for the TSX on their website, but they have loading guidelines for the TSX or just X-bullet data from the #3 manual. You can also call or email them for data if they have it.

I was thinking more of their latest manual that is slowing coming out, #4. It's supposed to have the TSX data and the MRX data according to this link. I'm looking forward to picking one up when I get a chance.

Oh they will, and they do. I have loaded those exact same bullets up to pressure signs using rl 19, rl 22, and h414, and not very far over max either. They still perform well over quite a bit of powder. Especially reloader 19 and 22.
