Check out the FAQ's section.  Lots of info for you there.  If overwhelmed use the "control+F" keys and type 357max and it should find it faster.  Lots of other good reads in there too.  Give it a look. ;)

Factory ammo is available from very few sources, so most folks handload. ;)

I am sure that a 357 MAX can kill a Moose or an Elk, heck a 22 rim fire can kill a moose if you are close enough and put the bullet in just the right spot and you have a little luck. Practically speaking a 357 MAX is not enough gun for those big game animals. Stick with deer and hogs with the right bullets and do not stretch the range too far and you will be good. ;)
