I buy mine at the scrap yard. It is the cheapest place you will find. It is usually pretty dirty, Melt it down clean it up. I use old muffin pans to make ingots.

 contact sniper68 over on the TMA "Traditional Muzzleloading Association " forum . he makes and sells English flints .
 you could also look at getting French ambers . they are higher in cost but if you  get good quality ones , they will last longer  in some locks

I read in muzzleblasts that over 90% of the world's flint comes from the same town in England

swampman , TOW is very low on flints  and do not know when they will be getting a re-supply  of the more popular sizes

Don't know how my post on lead got here, but at my age I find a lot of things in the wrong place
