Rifle Basix self installable triggers, what's your professional opinion?

I wanted to get a Rifle Basix trigger for my CZ 452, but I wanted to check with the pros first.

Is it a safe task to perform on my own?

Haven't used that model but replaced the trigger on mine with a Timney. Was a bit more trouble than some but quite do able.. Of course any time one deals with a trigger assembly on a weapon there is some liability.. Caution and following the instructions should keep you safe. Test the trigger and rifle function after installation and don't try to lower the pull weight past the indicated specs that came with the trigger. The CZ's are fine rifles and give fantastic accuracy for the money. Their trigger actions are their biggest fault and it's not a big fault. Good luck with a really great rifle..

I have a local smith that does great trigger job cheep so I have little to do with aftermarket triggers
However
I was in the bargain cave at one of those expensive list price stores... lol... and I found a Rifle Basix trigger for a Ruger 77/22 at 25% new cost. What a surprise, usually bargain cave item prices are no bargain to me. Anyway. I purchased the trigger and installed it on my rifle. The trigger was simple to change ( as is most Rugers) and the instructions very good.
I am pleased with the end result.
Would I have paid the normal list price for the trigger??? NO!

I've put in four Rifle Basix triggers - three in Ruger M77's and one Marlin rimfire. All were easy drop ins with easy to follow instructions, resulting in crisp, light pulls. I've read about the "improved" triggers on the Hawkeyes. I will say that they're better than the triggers on the MK2's, but they aren't great.

I have never done a Rifle Basix trigger but have installed Timneys and the last trigger I installed was a Bold brand trigger.  They are made by the same company that makes Boyd gun stocks.  They are about half the price of a Timney and mine is a crisper/smoother trigger action than the Timneys.  Although a little fitting is sometimes reguired to install them,  it is fairly simple.

Have installed a few timneys and a rb 1 and 2 on Savage hi powers . All were easy to do and performed as desired. I am looking at the RB trigger for the ruger mk 1 I have in 30-06 . I would like to try one and see how good they work. The sav 2 rb comes with an installation cd which is very good and mutch better than the paper manuals in my opinion. You can watch the operation and pause/ repeat as needed to do the operation. I don't know if the cz comes with one , but if it  don't it is probably because the installation is easy.

Haven't done a RB replacement on a CZ but have done them on my Marlin 917VS and Remington model 700. both very good and basically drop ins. Nice clean and crisp adj. triggers, with zero creep and minimal over travel.
