Ammo is loaded , guns zeroed , truck ready , only need to pack the suitcase and I'm on the road , man I need a vacation .  :o

The weather report looks great , I feel like a kid before christmas , my belly is calling for Dan's smoked ribs , can't wait to see you guys again .

Just rambling as I'm so ready to go .  ;)  ;D

When are you pulling out? Mike and DJ are supposed to arrive here at my house about 6:00 AM Tuesday morning. I have a box full of stuff from Midsouth Shooters Supply and Nosler. Nosler sent lots of bullets. The box is heavy.

Plan to be at Fuzzy's place in Columbus around noon Wed. we will drive in shifts or tank fulls all night , if all goes well we plan to hit Hooker about 5:30 / 6:00 Turs morning .

The truck is running better than last year - bad plug wire - so we should make better time this year . I too have a hodg-podg of stuff to give away again this year .  ;)

I'm hopeing to leave out at about 10 AM Tues.morning,and spend some time with Dan Wed.checking any new towns. I'll wear a wig and dark glasses so the PD. wont recoginize me,and head for Canada. ;D ;D ;D ;D I gotta zero guns Mon. if the wind will let up enough to keep the targets up.   Digger

Checked alignment of the scopes on a couple of guns last Saturday and we are ready to go.  We'll be leaving after work on Wednesday and will be in Hooker bright and early Thursday morning.

Gitin' all my stuff together today.  Have a couple of new rigs but nowhere to sight them in.  Hopefully Dan will allow me to use his range to get them on target.  Plan on leaving Wednesday about noon.  That should put me in Hooker around 5PM. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

By the way Digger, all those prairie dogs that were dead out in front of Stimpy were not killed by his bullets!! :D :D :D ;)

We have had severe thunderstorms the last 3 nights in NW and north central Okla.  Lightning took out my cable modem last night and just now getting back on line.  With all the rain and wind (and a couple of tornado's) there is a lot debris around and severe flooding.  The Kansas Highway patrol shut down several highways in Ks and a couple of friends coming back from Missouri had to stay in motels for the night.  So you folks heading west from the east, be sure to watch the conditions.

They are calling for one more round of thunderstorms tonight, then it's suppose to clear off for the rest of the week.  So hopefully we can have a good dry hunt and not so hot!

Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and Thursday morning.  Be Safe driving out.
