scope mounts for 10" bull bbl?

what mount do you guys recommend for a 4X Leupold? I think I used Leupold double dovetail 15 years ago,,,but being an old guy of 52,,,not sure.

Morning Alan :D

I'm alittle older than you, and the eyes don't focus to well anymore, so iron sights are pretty much out of the question.  For my lattest TC barrels I've been using Weaver bases with Burris Signature Rings.  Before I'd use Redfield, Leupold & Burris. But as of late I'll stick with the Weaver/Burris combination.  Works for me.

I"m also a big fan of the Weaver rail and burris zee type rings or millet angle loc rings for the 30mm tubes.  I've got about 10 or 12 barrels with these set ups.

yep, weaver base with burris signature rings are very nice. i also like burris dual dovetail bases with burris signature rings. i put a 3 ring redfield on my newest 30-30 ackley improved barrel. it's ok too so far. :D
