Bang Flops?
« on: May 04, 2008, 11:03:28 AM »
After browsing through the infamous .270 thread I think it would be interesting to see a poll on percentages of kills vs BFs.I think once voting in the poll the voter should state what caliber they were using to reach this ratio.Should be able to vote more than once in case you have data to contribute on several different calibers.Sound interesting?I don't know how to set up a poll or I would have.I'd love to see it though and I'd surely participate.
Thanks,
Rock

Sort of matters what you would call a bang flop.  I've put some deer down where they stand with a muzzleloader.  They weren't necessarily dead when they hit the ground, but they didn't last long.  The only "true" bang-flop (where the deer was dead before it hit the ground) I've had came with a 30-06 through both lungs.

Look a little farther down on this Deer Hunting thread, the poll has already been posted and beaten to death.
