Pretty cool. I always liked the "holy water sprinkler" version of the three-barreled gonne with the spikes and forward blade. I've already got some of the parts done for my own replica of one!

You mention in the video that it's 15th century, but used primer caps for detonation. Any chance it's a victorian copy of a medieval gonne? I've seen several multi-barrel versions up close, but have never seen anything other than some sort of touch-hole ignition on something that early.

Yes, either that or a percussion conversion of an earlier one.  I don't think I will ever know for sure.

That is a neat little piece, I bet it would deliver one heck of a buck & ball load X 3!

I think I'll have to build me one of those with the traditional ignition.

One question is there any sign of brass or copper braze in it's construction? 

I have seen an Indian item very similar to yours,

and I can picture them continuing its use with percussion caps.

Allen, no signs of brazing on it at all, nor any copper.  I got this from a Russian and presume he got it somewhere in Russia.

I have in mind a 12-barrel, 1 inch bore, handcranked machine with one cam-actuated hammer, on wheels  You shoot it about once an hour since you spend most of the hour loading it.

I have seen some of those before  , but they have always been Chinese .
was one for sale at ebay a few months ago , that one even had chinese writing on it .
unfortunately the owner have had it sand blasted , he more or less destroyed that nice gun .

There are a surprisingly large number of uninformed (that's the nicest way I can put it) people out there.  Not long ago I was offered a Civil War bronze Napoleon made by I think HNH, 1863 or so.  I had a suspicion of who owned it based on where the middleman lived and the roundabout description he gave of the owner, who he would not identify by name.  The person who I presumed had it is famous for hiring a henchman near him to beat the owners of the cemetery and VFW guns into submission until they sell out.  Then this particular new owner takes the bronze gun with a nice patina and dips it in acid to strip all the patina off, immediately, no matter how nice the patina looks to anyone else.  As soon as I assured myself it was from that source, I told the middleman I wasn't interested.
