That's not all, Norinco bought Marlin out from under big green this morning, so Remington is outa the picture anyway!!

Norinco are alleged to have obtained early samples of Australian Defence Industries lever action shotgun which were copied and marketed before ADI had completed what they claim were essential improvements. ADI have ceased development of the shotgun as they cannot compete with the substantially cheaper Chinese product.

It is believed Norinco intend to transfer Marlin's equipment to China. That will give them a big competitive cost edge, our source claimed."

Tim I don't know if you are pulling our collective leg but I will say this just in case you're not :I will NOT buy a lever action gun made in China. Nothing against the Chinese. It just wouldn't be right. I wouldn't buy cowboy boots made in China either. Globalization is ruining our western traditions. The only thing globalization does is help the fat cats get fatter faster. Finished. JMO

Yeah, I got an email today from Davidson's on the Mossy 464 Levergun.

Mc, don't let the offshore made products ruin your day, any electronics you have in your home are made in china including the components in the PC and monitor you're using to access this forum. That's not even getting into the parts in the vehicle of your choice and all the rest of stuff you use daily!!
