Ladder sights

I would like to install a ladder style sight on my Henry Big Boy .44 mag., but can't seem to find any dimensions for the OAL for these sights. Is anyone using one of these on their Henry? I have seen footnotes ON various sites that some of these ladders will not fit on a Henry because the receiver is too close to the dovetail. Please help!!!
