Is Knight the one to buy?
« on: April 09, 2008, 04:28:41 PM »
:) I've been thinking of buying an in line rifle. I've heard good stuff about the knights. I'd like a rifle for 150 yard shots or longer. I already have traditional rifles that are good for out to 100 yards. Which Knight should I look at? Do some have better long range performance than others. What loads should I use if I get one? Thanks for any help.

If you plan on hunting with conicals or some day hunt a state that requires conical. Knight would be the best way to go.

CVA/Winchester/Traditions are also others that should be looked at.

Look for a Winchester Apex, These are supposed to be excellent shooting rifles. I just bought one in .45 and cant wait to shoot it.

I would stay away from Traditions. I have had very bad luck with the few I owned. Bad CS and wouldn't even attempt to repair it or ship it. I have never messed with Winchester ML's but they are made by CVA/BPI.
