I have one that I bought from Wal Mart, $400 with the cheap Simmons scope. My favorite deer rifle, shoots 1/2-3/4" groups. Your price seems  high, but depends on what the scope is worth............I would buy it!

I bought one in .300wsm for $425 in late 2003. It shoots great and handles very nicely. I have thought about trading it off several times but it is still here and now I will possibly take it on a mule deer hunt later this year.

I bought one for my wife in 2003 from walmart $388 with cheap simmons scope, put a sightron and better rings on it and now it's my favorite plains deer and antelope rifle. When my wife wanted a rifle for longer range and saw that and liked it. I thought it was the ugliest thing I'd ever seen. But they are so easy to shoot you can't help but fall in love with them.
