Just thought some of you might get a kick out of my reply to this proposal.

I guess this means that my little cousin won't be getting his GRAND FATHERS GI JOE COLLECTION for CHRISTMAS this year since they contain little PLASTIC GUNS and FAKE PLASTIC BULLETS!
Come on, where is this going to end?
I think the US POSTAL SERVICE has little to fear from this latest assault on yet another of our freedoms. I was also thinking of sending along a drawing I did of the two of them enjoying an afternoon out HUNTING and admiring mother nature, but I guess this is out of the question too!
If this becomes S.O.P. for the USPS then I will do my best to inform all to use another service as much as possible. This is a silly thing to seriously be considering!
I would like to suggest that you seriously reconsider this move as it is totally unnecessary.

While the term "inert munitions" is used, in the text, it refers specifically to inert grenades and inert bombs.  You can make a grenade inert and, to all but the most practiced eye, it would appear the same as a live grenade. I think somebody is getting their panties in a twist over nothing.

I am strongly in favor of such a law , YOU BET , just think , the next time someone wants to send a fake bomb to scare people, this will stop them.
Just like the law against sending real bombs has stopped the bad guys , oh wait a minute , I guess it doesn't.
Never mind , had a liberal weenie tree hugger moment.
