Storing conibears?
« on: April 26, 2008, 11:19:33 AM »
Pulling our beaver sets tomorrow. Had fun trapping them for the first time. How do you store your conibears? Do you store them with the springs set or relaxed?

leave the spring set, they store easy and it be quicker for next year. The springs so far i seen don't get weaker, mine have been set for 3 years.

The majority of my 330's, sleep through the summer--with their springs compressed. Some say it weakens the springs, but I have not found that to be true.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I'll have to be re-compressing a lot of springs this morning. lol
