butler creek folding stock 10-22
« on: September 16, 2008, 02:36:50 AM »
I had been wanting one of these for awhile and finally got one. Boy was I disappointed. It doesnt fit like i would have thought. It is almost like its bowed a hair. The back of the stock flexes and you can move back of reciever up and down a Hair but it still moves. Anybody have a cure?

I bought one years ago in my youth along with those plastic hi cap mags. I must have blazed thousands of rounds through that thing. It is still accurate, but there are a lot of better stock choices for a 10/22 tackdriver. The folder is fun, easy to pack, but it is not a precision stock. Sorry that I don't have a cure for your flimsy stock.
