My hunting partner is 71 this year...
« on: April 25, 2008, 03:09:40 PM »
...and danged if he doesn't get all the luck.  I am not complaining.  Last season and so far this year he has gotten ALL the game.  I shot one doe last November.  PERIOD.  Since that day, he has shot four pigs, three does, and a turkey.  I own the land and he kills all the game.  The I get to clean 'em.  Oh Boy!

We hunt together.  He sprays bug repellent on himself for the mosquitoes.  I don't.  Maybe I should.  He likes the middle and west sides of the property.  I like the south and east.  Let's be clear.  I let him shoot where he wants to shoot.  He is, after all, 71 this year and I have A LOT more years to hunt than he does ( at least I hope so).

That is a very kind and generous thing. I hope somebody takes me on such hunting trips when I am 71.
