OK what is the deal with the CVA website? I can't find the barrels for the Elite. They have the ML, Compact and combo, but nothing else. Am I just not seeing it? The new look is interesting.

 Cant find it either. Sent them a e-mail. I suggest you send them one also. Kinda makes me think they are only going to offer combos. that would really upset me.

And their new site is all flash-y.  What a pain to navigate.  Flash is, in my opinion, the scourge of websites...

I hope this site is in error, because they aren't even offering the OE in a centerfire configuration...

They still offer the CF rifles, but all they have listed at this time are combos, click additional models. Hopefully the barrels were omitted from the updated site.

When I asked them about the OE centerfires and the accessory barrels, I got this reply:

www.bergarabarrels.com this is the company who makes and sell the optima
elite barrels.

A rather short reply.  But maybe I ticked them off because a previous mail was highly critical of their new website...

Apparently they're no longer available from BPI, but Bergara shows all of them. They're also available elsewhere for considerably less.  ;)

 makes me wonder if a new upgraded optima is coming out? Got same reply from bpi kind of flaky if you ask me.
