Duplex Loads

I was wondering how many of you had experimented with duplex loads in medium rifle calibers?  I was thinking of starting with a minimum load of RL-19 over top of two or three grains of unique and seeing what that would give me...  Would be for the -06 or .303brit.  The brit is an old one, so one I'm trying to keep pressures low, which is why duplex was an idea for it.

  I'm am afraid of duplex loads. I bounce my ammo around to much for that. The powder might get shaken out of position and then what would I have??

NO NO NO - duplex loads are a world unto their own and are in just about every case a nightmare waiting to happen , while some have had some luck in very large cased rounds like the 600 Nitro Express but without the proper data and testing gear its just a way to get hurt or worse .

Let me add this , Duplex loads were designed for large cases were a compressed load of VERY slow burning smokeless or Black powder are used and a SMALL amount of fast burning powder was used to help fire the larger charge . As the pressure of such a round can be difficult to determine it should be avoided .
