Legality of Selling or Trading Rifles?

Was wondering what the law says about persons selling or trading Rifles. i live in Ga.

Law says you can only ship them to Massachussets   ( Conrad Law, my neighbor)  ;D

I would strongly suggest you call your local state police and ask them. The laws tend to change and everyone might not be aware of the changes. Better safe than sorry.

Not a slam on you atllaw but "some guy on the internet told me it was ok" isn't much of an excuse if he does something illegal. You may be a lawyer or police officer in Atlanta and really know the law , I don't know , this is just my opinion, again better safe than sorry.

I've had questions in the past and they are more than happy to talk to you.

Private sales between individuals are unregulated by federal law, except for handguns, which when sold out of state must go dealer to dealer......

State law may still apply......but, your in Georgia, which is still part of the free united states......so, you're probably fine........

Well.........I was being flippant, because the original question (IMO) was sorta like asking to have the entire Bible engraved on the head of a pin.

It's a HUGE subject, with many different facets - much, much more than a quick reply can offer.
