.223 or Wylde chambering....

Besides the ability to use both cartridges, what is/are the differences?  Is one more accurate than the other?

According to Rock River Arms, the Wylde chambering is basically a match chambering, relieved the the case body and has a shorter throat to aid in accuracy.  Sounds good to me.

I had a Rock River NM ,great rifle ,but  the Wylde Chamber was very Touchie On what you used it it.
Almost to the point it would only feed one or two differant type Rounds in the Expensive range of the 223.

My experience is the opposite. My RRA has not had a single problem feeding anything that meets .223 specs. I have fed handloads w/ a reasonable variation in OAL, WWB, UMC, Wolf Gold, Federal, American Eagle. YMMV. The gun has not been a bit fussy. FWIW, I use Cproducts mags w/ Magpul followers exclusively.

the .223 remington chamber has the shortest throat. the wylde is longer and the 5.56 longest. this is why it can be dangerous shooting 5.56 ammo in a .223 chamber. my choice is the Wylde. you can use .223 and 5.56 safely

Hey all-------I have 5 Rock Rivers---have had absolutely no feeding issues with any of them----have shot all types and weights of bullets----------very accurate rifles out of the box!!!
