What Scope Base For Encore Turkey Barrel?

I've got an Encore 12 gauge Turkey Barrel in Hardwoods Camo coming in the mail (don't have it yet) and had a couple question about mounting a scope on it:

- Is this barrel tapped for a scope mount?

- Does it need the special T/C Encore scope base #9949 that fits the 12 gauge rifled slug barrel?

- Any recommendations for scope or reddot sight?

Yes, you need the Encore 12 ga shotgun Weaver base No.9949. The 12 ga barrel is thinner than other barrels and you would run the screws into the barrel and make dimples in the barrel. The no.9949 has shorter screws. The base is longer and more slots,also.
