I made up a lower Bi-Pod attachment for my H&R 223 with a lower mounted swivel stud, inline and closer to the receiver. With practice, It works great, though I give you fair warning... due to the closer mount it will be harder to hold still. Not impossible, but more difficult.
Yours is a lot closer to the receiver than mine ever was.
Solve one problem and create another difficulty I guess. Those clamp on Bi-Pods have no leveling adjustment , like Harris and alike, to solve scope CANT, unless you are shooting from a level position.
