I have a 30-06 T3 that was not as accurate as my other T3's. I went over the firearm and after tightening all the scope and optic screws I got a different screw driver and found out much to my surprise that one of the actions bottom machine screws was a little hard to tighten but kept moving for about a turn and a quarter. I took the gun to the range today and it shot better than ever and just as good as my 6.5x55 T3, a nail driver. I am sure that if the person assembled the stock and barreled action used an air wrench it may have torqued out early. I hand accepted in my mind that this firearm was just not as good as my 6.5x55. Thought I would get this out to the thread so everyone really checks those machine screws holding the stock to the barreled action even if it seems tight. The gun went from around MOA to sub-moa with most any ammo.
