.3565 115 FN pb

10. .3565 115  FN   pb 2 cavity – superior live target bullet for 9MM (from your mold list)

Veral, can you tell me about this bullet?  I am going to start loading 9mms for my AR15 carbine and want a good bullet for it.  Would this also be a good bullet for the 38 Super?  How would it fly at longer distances?

Thanks,

Crabo

The FN in  9mm is the same exact nose profile as the 38 FN.  Superior for game.  It will feed well in most 9mm auto pistols.  As for your AR15, I have no idea how it would feed.  For long range you definitely should use a heavier bullet, like 130 gr, which will be quite a bit more accurate due to it's longer bearing length.

If live target use isn't on your agenda, you'll perhaps be happier with an FNB2, which has a more graceful ogive and smaller meplat, which will make it feed more reliably and range out farther, than the FN, when comparing identical weight bullets.
