anyway to mount Reddot on a NEF without drilling?
« on: April 21, 2008, 04:24:29 PM »
i have a red dot scope and a NEF 12 gauge shotgun...

it is going to cost me almost $50-$75 to get it drilled and tapped and put a rail on it...

I DON'T WANT TO PAY THAT FOR THIS GUN....

Do they make any attachment or anything i might not know about ? that would allow this to happen?

I'm not finding anything but with more eyes looking and more knowledge from you all... I'm hoping...lol
I'm not laughing at you I'm laughing with you,
                             Your just not laughing.......

Ever notice the deer we get is always smaller
                              than the deer we saw..??.lol

Don't know of any but if it helps they make very bright tritium front sights that clamps on to the barrel just behind the bead at the muzzle. This would make a good alternative if the red dot you had in mind did not use magnification.

We will see if it holds up when I get a dot or halo sight for it.

Dang!  Didden you boys ever hear of Duct Tape?  If it can keep a super cub flying, it sure ought to hold a little bitty scope on a shotty-gun!  Iffen you use enough of it, that is.....
