How do I determine if my cannon has a seamless liner?
« on: May 18, 2008, 02:05:28 AM »
I have been reading some of the recent posts regarding the use of seamless liners.  I have two cannons that I got from an individual who told me that they were from South Bend.  They are both cast with liners.  I am concerned about safety when firing.  I  have not fired these yet because I  wanted to settle this first.  Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Tim

South Bend cannon, you didn't get cannons with seamed liners.  Ring them up an ask.

Here is a post I wrote on seamed liners sometime ago, I brought it back to the top for review.

Don't be afraid to shoot a welded seam cannon, just understand it takes extra special care.

Question was already answered while I was away from the computer...... ;)
Mr president I do not cling to either my gun or my Bible.... my gun is holstered on my side so I may carry my Bible and quote from it!
