94 Shorty

Howdy
I always wanted a shorty in 30/30.Have a 44 mag trapper it is a newer gun with the cross bolt safey.
Found a 30/30 yesterday has a saddle ring ,16 inch barrel and no cross bolt safey.
What model is this gun ?
It did not have trapper staped on the barrel.

Well it is my gun know.Said to be unfired and it looks it.
Going to get some new wood for it cause the would that is on it is to nice for brush hunting.
Just hope it shoots as good as my 44 trapper?

Wilbe - sounds like a Sadlle Ring Carbine.  I have a 1927 vintage of the same.  I believe the 'Trapper' is a pistol caliber version of the Saddle Ring.  I think.  HTH.  Mikey.
