92FS Accuracy?
« on: April 14, 2008, 08:12:39 AM »
Gentlemen,

I've been seriously looking at a 92FS as a gun to shoot, whose ammunition costst less than .45ACP does.  What kind of accuracy can I expect from one of these 92 pistols?
Thanks.

That is all on how well you can shoot an auto handgun. I would say the average for what I have seen in the Navy from people who have actually shot handguns often are about 5" at 25 yards. I can keep my shots in 3" at 25 yards though so if you do your part the gun will too.

The 92 is a great gun. The most reliable semi-auto I have seen after working in gun rentals, WAY above any Glock, Sig, Walther(close), S&W, kel-tec, Taurus, Bersa, Colt, and Browning. 7+ thousand rounds a week of dirty Magtech ammo without as much as a brush to them and they still kept churning. As the LawDog said, accuracy is up to the shooter.

i see this is a older post but wanted to add, 92fs are very nice and accurate for a combat pistol. maybe better then most out there out of the box. easy to take down too.
