Did have a Burris 6X compact on it and it worked fine. The hardest kicker I have had a lupy 3x9 on is my .300 winny. I don't think I will have a problem with it, since it is set up like a bolt gun. I hope anyway. Thanks for the advice, wish I could down load a pic.

i have a savage bolt gun and it kicks a bit harder than my 300 win mag as a matter of fact it kicks harder than the 338 win mag i had , but that could be the stock fit .
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

Any one shoot any 150-200 yard targets with the mentioned slug guns?
Cheese

200 yards in a 12" circle on the bench.  I have a 870 Supermag (not that the supermag part matters) but it has the 870 Superslug barrel- I use Remington Corelokts and have a Simmons Whitetail extreme 2-7 (I think) on it.  It's a *great* gun.  I shot a 6-point at 130 yards with it this year- I think that's my longest shot ever, but I have taken several deer in the 100 yard range.  It's a piece of cake with this gun (as long as the deer is cooperating).

I put my slug on par with my .450 marlin with a 20 inch barrel, it has a burris 2x7 mil dot on it, I guess any of them can get you if you tend to creep on'em.

With my 870, I have hit a doe at 168yds. Measure with laserpro 800. But nothing on targets that far. Buddy at work says his is sighted in at 150. I could see a slug getting 200 easy if the shooter could do it.

I use a H&R TDC with 20Ga. Tracker I smoothbore barrel.  It loves Federal TruBall ammo and I'm pretty confident with it out to about 65 yards.

My "Baby" is a Marlin model 512 slugmaster with a Leupold 2X7 on top... Trigger has some creep but it shoot's Lightfield 1.25 oz in a 2" group all day long @ 100yds... Next on is my "problem child" its a H&R Ultra slug hunter with a Leupold 3X9 on it... Havent found what it like's yet... Seems to have a "diet" problem...Sure does'nt like SST  it does ok with Lightfield's...but I already have one for those.... I have bought several box's of different ones to try... But after it popped me tween the eye's it is still in the corner... I have a 12ga Pro Hunter  barrel on the way to try and see if I cant get it to shoot 200yds... Since I live in Illinois  Slug gun performance is a must.....  Seems like so few hunter's here try to get the most out of their's...Drop

My Indiana slug gun (savage 210F) has gone up for sale since the state started to allow pistol caliber rifles.  I think you're mossberg is basically the same as the Savage 210F.  Anyone looking for an afordable & accurate slug gun should look into one of those.  I'm just glad that I don't have to apy $2 - $3 everytime per shot anymore.
