I got one a while back and like it. Did have a problem at first with the extractor not letting the case come out with my reloads. Did the cowboy loads fine as the case didn't expand enough to lock it up. A little time with a battery powered dremel at the range to fix that and all is fine.
All my 45 colts are strong enough to take the heavier loads, so I had some that really get your attention with the metal butt plate.
Hunting wouldn't be a problem, but wearing a T-shirt and putting 30 + rounds down range left some purple lines on the shoulder.
Tim has a picture of his Target with a real good looking strap-on pad that he said works fine. ( He didn't show the picture of the Lead-Sled.) Anyway, with a coat on for hunting or milder (not cowboy either) loads it's not bad at all. Gettin old enough I need to quit pushing loads anyway. Got the 454 or 444 or 45-70 to do that if I need to feel some pain.
Get it, you will like it!
