New LMT AR
« on: May 11, 2008, 12:54:04 PM »
Picked up my new LMT  from the transfer dealer today.  Everything appears flawless.  I can't wait to fire it up. Unfortunately can't go out today because of we like to sell cards and flowers day and next Saturday is my kids 3 yr birthday. Hopefully I can get out next Sunday. I will post a review then. Oh the agony!

Well I finally got to fire my New LMT carbine on Sunday.  I fired from a bench and zeroed it. At 50 yards the groups were less than an inch. I didn't experience any malfunctions in 2 boxes of Wal-Mart 55 grain plinker ammo. It was extremely windy so I didn't try for 100 yard groups.  I can't wait to try it with some quality heavyweight bullets at longer range. Everybody says not to trust an AR rifle until the 1K round mark so I won't pronounce it perfect but I am very pleased so far.
