It's able to handle any load for Ruger or TC you can find in any manual. Just had to open up the extractor to get the cases to slid out as they expand some in the chamber. I think the chamber is a little on the large side, wouldn't have that problem if it was tight. Don't take that as being bad, it's still in spec. As Tim said, just a few minutes and all is OK. I had a battery powered Dremel I took to the range with me and did it there. The 45 colt is my favorite handgun cartridge with the 357 almost neck and neck. Have 3 handguns in 45 and 3 rifles as well. Gotta have something to pass on to the kids.
Have never used factory loads for hunting. Have some 310g Keith bullets over light charges of TiteGroup as well as over some max loads of LilGun. Gonna try some Win 231 as well for light loads. Have used H-110 for heavy loads as well with good results. Enjoy! DP.
