Skunk help!

I have a skunk living in my neighborhood and he has to go. He walks around during broad daylight. My neighbor say's she see's it quite often during the day. I didn't really care but today my wife said it was on our patio next to the back door. I need a bait that will lure it and not any dogs or cats in the neighborhood. Any ideas?  I want to use a cubby and 120 Belisle.

I'm sure theres a goo lure out there for skunk but I dont know what it would be.

When you catch it send it in to the state and see if it has rabies or something. Maybe some pets or people have been affected.

 Shawn, They seem to like anything STINKY!!  I did hear that they LOVE rotten eggs! Give that a try.

If you were using a box trap where non target animals were not harmed if caught you could release them if so desired, my friend uses little cans of tuna and single serving cans of cat food in his "relocation" program of free roaming cats , and has caught a number of skunks this way.
I have caught non targeted skunks on peanut butter and bird seed , but not as often as he.

I think shawns relocation program is, Relocate dead animal in dumpster!LOL The only good skunk is a dead skunk!

HEY! This morning walking across the parking lot to go fishing I thought of this thread , I found a container of worms , but they mustve been there a few days cooking in the sun , I opened the lid and WOW!! , anyhow I bet that would make a good skunk bait , doncha think

I know that smell!!! That is about as rancid as it gets!! I bet that would work, if you could handle the stench! LOL

oh yes , it is bad , I bet no self respecting house cat nor city dog would want to stick their face in it , skunks tho I could see coming for the feast.

I beg to differ. I have a non self respecting female dog that LOVES to roll in ANYTHING skinky! She has NO limit on the stinkyness! LOL Needless to say she gets baths on a bi daily bases! LOL

I dont like giving out second hand info, I was told it works good for stinky's. I havent tried this bait but maybe you can check it out.

SFE Synthetic fermented aggs or the Real Maccoy.
