Stabilizers

With so many different people making stabilizers for body grib traps, How do you know which ones would work best? There cant be that much of a difference between them, can there?

I strive to produce the best products I possibly can. Be it my Beaver lures, or stabilizers. Every edge on my stabilizers is ground to do away with --sharp and gauntlet eating snags. I amm not the cheapest guy in town, and never will be--but you must consider what you are getting.

Maze, what ,where, and how are you wanting to use stabilizers for conibears. If we knew what you were trying to do there might be more we could help with.

I'm looking a product someone is willing to stand behind. I'm a firm believer to get what you pay for. I'm not looking a the cheapest product & I'm not looking for the most expensive with all the bells and whistles.

I'm fairly new to using body grips, so I don't know much about stabilizers, or how to use them or how they work. I mainly use snares. I'm usually trapping in muddy or sandy soil. I haven't found trapping spot that's been rocky yet.

Tom, I know you have a hell of a beaver lure that I'd recommend to anyone. I'm sure your stabilizers are no exception.

If you are using them to stabilize a 330 at a Castor mound set Tom's set up will do you fine. If you are going to try setting some deep runs there are all kinds of choices. I don't know if Tom makes them for this application, but Minnesota Trapline Products makes some quality things at fair prices.

I do make a few of the tall stabilizers, but I find the shorter ones work in most instances. The tall ones, still put your trap on the bottom.
