Yep, the Volquartsen LH safety is a good item. I have fitted two of them without any alteration or filing. Watch out for the spring and plunger tha holds the safety in place -- tiny parts, easily lost. There's a trick to getting the darn thing to settle in place. Gunsmither Tools makes a little "third hand" gizzie that is helpful.
While you're at it, you may want to inlet the stock to allow the barreled action to fit back in without that "set in the middle" hassle required by the factory safety. The inlet is very small, barely visible, and makes takedown for cleaning a lot simpler.
